How can I request an early refill?

Requesting an early refill

We understand that things can change, and you might need your prescription ahead of schedule. We’re here to help when you need to plan for travel, can’t find your last pack, or have run out of your medication earlier than anticipated. You can request an early refill at any time from the treatments tab of your account.

Once on the Treatments tab, select View details on the active prescription you would like to have filled early.

From here, click on the Manage drop-down to find the option to request an early shipment.

From there, scroll through the drop menu and click on Request early order.

You will be prompted to select a date. The option will include the "earliest date available" which will be 5 days out or "select a date" for early refill orders further out.

Please note in most cases, we are not able to accept refill requests within the next 5 business days, as it takes time for our pharmacy partner to process refills and have them delivered to you.

You will be asked to include the reason for your early refill request as this is required by our pharmacy to ensure that you’re using your medication safely and is also required by insurance providers.

Please note that refills processed earlier than scheduled are not covered by insurance via direct billing from the pharmacy. As such, you will be charged for the full cost of your medication and a receipt will be provided with the shipment that you can use with an explanation of the early fill to submit a claim to your provider for reimbursement.

Once submitted, you can expect the pharmacy to accept your request at least 8 days prior to the date you indicated you need your medication. Since it does take time for the pharmacy to process your prescription refills and get this shipped to your door, there is a five-business-day window between the day you make your request and when we can get this to you. If your next scheduled refill is within this window, you won't be able to submit an early refill request.
