What is a renewal visit?
Renewal visits are a shortened version of your initial assessment visit. During this process, you will be prompted to provide updated responses to important questions and have the chance to update your practitioner on how your treatment is progressing. From there, you'll be reconnected with your practitioner via chat to discuss your treatment moving forward.
Following the completion of the renewal visit, you'll receive a new, updated prescription that will continue to be processed by your chosen pharmacy in line with your existing refill schedule.
When do I have to complete my renewal visit?
The frequency of renewal visits varies by category. In most cases, prescriptions are valid for a 1 year supply of medication, so renewal visits are completed on a yearly basis. In other categories, such as Weight Loss or Mental Health, you'll need to check in with your practitioner more frequently to review your progress and make adjustments.
You will see a banner on your treatment when you have an upcoming renewal visit. In addition, you'll be prompted via email to complete your renewal visit once it becomes available.
How much does a renewal visit cost?
Renewal visits are typically free, depending on the ailment category. Renewals for Weight Loss and Menopause treatments have a $40 fee.
