Understanding pharmacy holds

Prescriptions can be placed on hold for a number of reasons!

If your prescription enters our pharmacy's queue to be processed and it is too early, our team will place the order on hold to align your refill dates and maximize insurance coverage. Your fill will be processed on the date indicated in your account. You can view this by going to the Home page and selecting the relevant treatment.

Prescriptions may also be placed on hold because the pharmacy needs to confirm further information with your or your practitioner. For example, this can include verifying your identity or address, clarifying insurance information, or confirming details of your prescription. The reason for the hold will also be visible in the treatment details from your account.

In these cases where further information or action is needed, our pharmacy or patient support team will reach out directly to you. We recommend checking your junk/spam folders as well as these are sometimes filtered out accidentally!
