How do I get a lab requisition through Felix?

If appropriate, a Felix provider can issue a lab requisition through one of the following categories:

  • Weight loss

  • Metabolic health

  • STIs

  • PrEP

  • Longevity

Your healthcare practitioner will review your submitted questionnaire answers and reach out via the private chat. They will discuss next steps and share a lab requisition with you in the chat.

Finding your Lab Requisition

You can access your requisition via your home page. Simply click "Send a Medical Inquiry" to open the chat with your provider. You'll find your requisition within the chat modal and within the "Shared Files" section next to the chat window.

Lab Locations

Longevity patients are required to use Lifelabs locations only. If you are living in Saskatchewan, please note that the only locations providing Longevity testing are:

  • Saskatoon: Lifelabs Midtown PSC

  • Regina: Lifelabs Towers PSC

For all other categories, you're welcome to visit any lab located in your province of residence. You can use the links below to check for nearby LifeLabs or Dynacare locations. If you’re aware of another lab in your area, you’re welcome to take your lab requisition there instead.

Viewing Your Completed Lab Report

Once you’ve completed your lab visit, the lab will automatically fax us your results. This typically takes 3–4 days.

Once we receive your lab results, it will be added to your chart, and your healthcare practitioner will contact you within 24–48 hours to discuss the results.

If you haven’t heard from us within that timeframe, please reach out to us via the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of your screen. Telling us which lab you attended and the date you visited will help us to promptly follow up with them.

Obtaining a Copy of Your Completed Lab Report

Once your practitioner has shared your results in the private chat, you can click and download via the shareable link.

You'll also be able to find the complete report in the "Shared Files" section beside the chat window.

External Lab Results

If you have recently completed lab work ordered by a provider external to Felix, you can share these results with your Felix healthcare practitioner for review.

Simply upload a copy of the lab report directly into the secure chat within your Felix portal. Please ensure that your name, date of birth, and the date of the lab work are clearly visible for identification purposes.

Please note that if certain tests are missing, your Felix healthcare practitioner may require you complete new lab work.
