This service is only available for patients located in Ontario. The available appointment times depend on your postal code and LifeLabs technician coverage in your area.
What to Expect
When submitting your Home Collection visit, you’ll be asked to choose a date and time for your collection. Appointment times are available starting at 3 business days from the date of submission.
Once your booking is confirmed, LifeLabs will contact you directly with appointment details. A technician (licensed phlebotomist) will arrive at your home or office during the selected time window to collect your sample. The process typically takes less than 15 minutes from start to finish.
Please note that the technician is a representative of LifeLabs, not Felix.

Cost and Insurance Coverage
Home Collection costs $85 which is separate from the fee for the online visit. This fee is charged upfront when you submit your visit.
Promo codes cannot be applied towards the Home Collection fee.
This service is not covered by OHIP and is considered an out-of-pocket expense.
We provide a detailed receipt accessible in your Felix account, which you can submit to your health spending account or insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Changing or Cancelling Your Appointment
Once your appointment has been confirmed by LifeLabs, they will manage your appointment going forward. To change or cancel your appointment, please contact LifeLabs directly:

If you decide to switch to in-lab testing instead, please download the lab requisition provided by your healthcare practitioner in your visit chat and take this to your local lab.
Viewing Your Appointment and Results
You can view your selected appointment time on the Home page of your Felix account after submitting your visit. Your test results will be shared with you by your healthcare practitioner once these are received.
