Here’s what you need to know about how we protect your data, how your information may be shared in certain healthcare settings, and what to expect when receiving medication through Felix.


How We Protect Your Information

Felix adheres to all applicable Canadian private sector and health information privacy laws. That means we follow strict guidelines when it comes to collecting, storing, and sharing your personal health information.

We’ve put in place physical, organizational, contractual, and technological safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access or misuse.

If You’re Using Provincial Coverage

If you use provincial health coverage to pay for lab tests or medication, or if your medication is dispensed through our British Columbia pharmacy partner, your information may appear in a provincial electronic medical record system. This may allow other registered care providers you’ve seen—or plan to see—to view your past lab results or prescriptions.

Specific to British Columbia:

All community pharmacies in B.C. are legally required to operate through PharmaNet, a secure system managed by the Ministry of Health. Every prescription filled in B.C. is logged under your Personal Health Number (PHN). That’s why we must collect your PHN, even if your Felix treatment is not covered by insurance.

While PharmaNet is essential for safe prescribing and drug interaction checks, please note that Felix cannot guarantee that accessing care through our platform won’t impact your relationship with a family doctor or your position on a provincial primary care registry.


When We Share Your Information

Felix only shares your personal or medical information with third parties if you’ve given consent, for example, if you request a copy of your records to be shared with another provider.

We take this responsibility seriously and never disclose information unless legally required or you’ve asked us to. If you’re concerned about a specific third party accessing your Felix records, please get in touch with our privacy team at: privacy@felixforyou.ca


Discreet Delivery

We understand how important discretion is when it comes to your treatment. That’s why all Felix pharmacy shipments arrive in plain, unbranded packaging. There's no Felix logo or pharmacy branding on the envelope.

In rare cases—such as during high-volume shipping periods—you may notice a “Healthcare” label. This helps prioritize your package in transit but doesn’t reveal what's inside.
