As of April 1st, 2019, OHIP covers some birth control options for women in Ontario, under 25 years old and that do not have private insurance. Make sure to upload your OHIP card during your online visit so that the pharmacy can apply your coverage.

To verify which specific medications are covered, please consult the OHIP medication database here. If your medication is covered, it will be indicated in the search. If the search comes back with "We couldn't find the medication you were looking for," it likely isn't covered under OHIP.
